The change of name – recently approved by shareholders – arises from a process of restructuring, which is now at an advanced stage.

Union Atlantic Minerals will focus on:
  • brownfields exploration for base and technology metals;
  • mine development;
  • mining of ores; and
  • production of polymetallic concentrates.
Key objectives to be met are:
  • re-listing as Union Atlantic Minerals on the JSE early in 2019;
  • disposal of remaining non-core assets; and
  • capital-raising in order to prioritise exploration in the Rozynenbosch base metals asset in South Africa’s Northern Cape province.
